Screening Day

What you can expect

As part of Screening Day, a nurse comes to your place of business to conduct the following three tests:

Capillary glucose level screening
Capillary cholesterol level screening
Blood pressure testing

Format
Tests can be done individually or in a group setting. Tests can be done with or without an appointment. Testing by appointment is preferable, since it reduces employee wait time. Biron – Santé en enterprise will provide a schedule with appointments at five-minute intervals. Screening Days are eight hours long and can be held between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. according to the client’s needs and those of the target clientele.

Services offered

The nurse sent by Biron – Santé en entreprise will:
Meet with each person who would like to be tested. Administer the glucose, cholesterol, and blood pressure tests. Offer appropriate advice and provide informative flyers. Recommend a doctor’s appointment if necessary. Give each client a record of their test results.
